We rarely like to be serious, but it is Gudmas after all. You have made our dream come true by helping us bring this game to life. You enthusiasm in the comments, participation in the discord and pledges make this game a smash success beyond our wildest dreams. Thank you.
So for our last Gudmas gift, we want to hear from you about the type of fighter you think the guy pictured above is. We'll flavor his ability on what the community decides he is like! And, our favorite name suggestion will be his actual, real name in the game! If you agree, we will include "Named by ____ " on his card. Make sure to really inspect his art for clues – this guy is packed with Easter eggs (despite being themed around Gudmas).
So until next time, Merry Gudmas!!! (we hope your earth holidays are nice too)

For a Sun Worshipper, this guy sure is Dark
This is a list your don't want your name on
The Lord High Inquisitor exemplifies the play of the Dark Refractory - they play an attachment called Hunted on enemy fighters. Each of the members of the Inquisition helps hunt down these heretics. The Lord High Inquisitor makes it so Hunted fighters can't move, the Jailor captures them and the Interregator discards the top card of an enemy's deck if you capture a Hunter fighter.
An Actual Piper Piping
Before you go freaking out, we also are giving away a cool alt art card. Yes. Now that's been established. But we also wanted to honor the Queen Below with a custom composed song fitting her Queenly stature
So we hired an actual competition bagpiper, Derek Midgely, to compose an play a song just for our queen. So without further ado, here is a piper piping…
That's a movie quote I actually think you are quite clean
Next up for stretch goals we have an amazing and unique band of neutrals, the Adventurers of Gudnak! Did you know Gudnak started as an in-world game for a D&D campaign? Well this group pays homage to that origin.

Lord a Leapin!
Who'd you call Craven?
This is actually only one lord, but he sure is leapin'! Btw if you don't say "Not Today" when you use this ability you have no soul. Kinda like this Prince?
We've got exciting surprises in store for the last two days of Gudmas, including our first ever COMMUNITY VOTE to decide on the direction for a fighter.
The fighter in question is in the picture below…
Will you make them into a villain? A friend?! Only you can decide!!
Stretch goal UNLOCKED! Competitive Chaos and the ninth day of GUDMAS

Competitive Mode!
We're cruising through stretch goals like we're trying to get stopped by the police because we have a crush on one of them who is inexplicably Scottish.
And this time we're passing right through a place near and dear to my heart – COMPETITIVE MODE.
In 'Nak, knowing your opponent's deck can be a real leg up. That's why competitive matches are played best 2 out of 3. Can you switch your deck in between games? Yes. Well, kinda.
When you roll up to a 'Nak tourney, you're going to bring a 20 card deck and a 6 card sideboard consisting of any combination of heroes and/or tactics from your chosen faction. You will also have access to all basic fighters in your faction. In between games, you can swap out your underperforming or way-too-tired-to-fight-again cards for some fresh legs. This is going to allow you to play MINDGAMES with your opponent. So really we have created two games - a card game and a mind game. For the price of one!
Abrupt change of topic! On the ninth day of Gudmas my 'Nak friend gave to me…
Nine? Ladies? Dancing?
Are there nine?
Well, despite not dancing, these ladies still like to party. And in Gudnak, party is a passive ability for the Ladies-in-Waiting that reads:
“Royal Courtiers: After a friendly Hero enters the Battlefield, you may activate its Action ability without paying its action cost and ignoring fatigue.”
Good thing the Gloaming don't have any good action abilities oh wait let me just read this card here…oh no…oh please no…
